Aesca is a local platform for Filipino artists. Their artworks are transformed through mindful wearable art. In 2020, I collaborated with Aesca to design face masks made out of Abacá, or Musa textilis.

Concept image combining the plant and endangered animals.

Since the banana leaf material is eco-friendlier than synthetic ones, illustrations of endangered animals combined with the plant's leaf were printed on it. Masks were lined with fabric for reusability and comfort.
